Capitager
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
You are the cursor. Click. Build. Automate.
In Capitager, there is no hero standing between you and the world — your mouse cursor is the hero.
Harvest trees, rocks, ore and berry bushes with direct, satisfying clicks. Turn raw materials into a growing production network, sell your output, unlock new land, and upgrade your cursor from a simple pointer into a powerful god-hand with orbiting drones.
Available for Windows x64, Linux x64, and macOS Apple Silicon.
What you can do
- Click resource nodes to harvest wood, stone, berries and ore.
- Build a Market and sell what you collect.
- Automate harvesting with a Drone Hut.
- Create production chains with the Sawmill, Furnace, and Mint.
- Buy new land to expand your floating island.
- Unlock 12 cursor upgrades and push toward ascension.
- Continue across three save slots; the game autosaves every minute.
Controls
- Left click — harvest / interact
- Right or middle drag, WASD, arrow keys — move the camera
- Mouse wheel — zoom
- B — open the build menu
- U — open upgrades
- Esc or right click — cancel placement / close a window / open the menu
Install
Windows x64: download and unzip the Windows archive, then run capitager.exe.
Linux x64: download and unzip the Linux archive. Open the extracted capitager-0.0.1 folder, run chmod +x capitager if needed, then launch ./capitager.
macOS Apple Silicon: download and unzip the macOS archive, then open Capitager.app. The app is ad-hoc signed but not notarized. If Gatekeeper blocks the first launch, Control-click the app, choose Open, then confirm Open.
No Java installation is required on any platform.
The Windows executable is also unsigned, so SmartScreen may show a warning on first launch. Choose More info → Run anyway if you trust the download from this page.
Version 0.0.1 is the first public development build. Feedback and bug reports in the comments are very welcome.
